There is nothing more precious than the first few weeks and months with your new arrival. My newborn sessions are designed to be calming and fuss free as I capture the intimate bond forming between baby and parents.

These sessions are best when you and your baby are comfortable so I recommend having them in your home where we can create a relaxed and controlled environment.

I will provide gentle direction during our session, though I keep photos relatively unposed and will follow your baby’s lead in which positions are most comfortable for them and whether photos are taken while they are asleep or awake.

When to take newborn photos? Newborn photos can be taken whenever you and your baby feel ready. In the first two weeks of birth, babies usually sleep deeply, are content and settle easily which makes it a popular age to photograph. At one to two months old, babies tend to start opening their eyes and smiling which creates beautiful interactive photos.
